College Specific Applications
Have a specific school in mind?
Outside of the 700 Common Application colleges and the California public school applications, there are the College Specific Applications. College Specific Applications are found on a college’s website and generally are only used for that particular college or system. This often times includes some private schools and out of state schools. University of Washington, University of Texas and New York University are a few examples of these alternative applications. California State schools do not require essays or recommendation letters, but if you need some assistance with the Cal State Application, it would fall into this category. The amount of work required to complete these applications varies greatly, therefore a $200 hourly rate will be implemented. We provide:
- An overview of the application process
- A preview of the completed application before submission
- General guidance on what admission officers look for in the activities list and essays
- “Tips and Tricks” in the completion of the extracurricular activities section
- Support in conceptualizing a topic/theme for the application essays
- Review and editing of your completed essays
- Guidance and preview of high school recommendation letter request forms, that typically include a series of questions that a student must complete (high schools vary in their requirements)
